It works by sending data between a user’s satellite dish, a satellite in space, and a ground station connected to the main internet network. This technology is especially useful in remote or rural areas where traditional broadband services like fiber or cable are unavailable. However, it can be slower and more expensive, and weather conditions may sometimes affect the signal.
